The 2012 Detroit Auto Show is underway! So we're going to talk about some cars. They are the 2013 Caddy ATS, the 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo, Chevy is speaking in Code, and VW has an electric bug! @PresidentiaICadillac Well, isn't there a new 3-series model coming out these days?
Anyway, it has no chance of competing against the ATS for various reasons. Mainly beacause much more effort and focus went into developing the ATS, while BMW has too many models and people spread out too much.

so if porsches are squished beetles this new bugster is beginning an interesting catch-22.
porsche took the beetle and in the years since its founding has flattened and widened it. now that VW is doing the same thing to the new beetle it is only a matter of time until the circle repeats. I'm thinking the cayenne (or cajun) will get the squished treatment next and the cycle will perpetuate. ad infinium.
So essentially this bugster is what the 2040 (+/-5yrs) Cayenne or Cajun will look like.
