  • When I use the concave end of the tool I can't seem to keep it. level with the ground like you are. Am I doing the exercise wrong?

I am keeping the plastic end IN FRONT of my teeth... It just falls out... Do I need to work at it more or do something different?

  • @trumpetdudeman07 With the disc in front of your teeth you must use the muscles that you use when you say "mmm" to hold the pete parallel to the ground. You really have to push your lower lip up towards your nose to get the support it needs. It make take a while so just do it a few minutes a day until it gets strong enough. Remember you never need that much strtength when you play, but it is like a baseball player swinging 2 bats before stepping up to bat:)

  • So is this better than the pencil exercise or both are different. Great videos, thaks!!

  • @ElQueMataLaBacha

I suggest the pencil exercise as a main stay for daily practice. The PETE is a two or three times a week. They overlap but also develop different muscle memories

  • @grawlin Thanks for the reply. I can really tell a big difference in my endurance after using the P.E.T.E after about a week. Good stuff!

How exactly do you use the concave end opposite the disc. I notice you still put it in front of your teeth adn were able to hold it up without assistance from your hands. Either I am really out of shape or I'm just doing it incorrectly. Any tips?

  • Looks like a great training gadget, just what I need to strengthen my chops. Thanks for the review!

  • Hi George

I have ordered based on your views and reviewing the warburton video. Thank you for bringing this new resource to our attention.

    Kind regards

  • How do you unrate this? I accidentally hit 1 as I was scrolling around. ANYWAY...I'll give it a 5 and I'm ordering one :-) Thanks George!
