Gradius 5 PS2 Emulated with PCSX2 v0.9.4

PCSX2 PS2 Emulator on:
Intel Q6600 @ 2.4GHz
Corsair 4GB DDR2 RAM
BFG 8800GT OC 625MHz 512MB (factory OC)
Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty

Tried Gradius 5 from the CD/DVD-player but the sound lagged a couple of times so I created an image of the game instead and it went much smoother from the HDD.

PCSX2 v0.9.4 settings:

CPU:
everything checked, (EERec, VU0rec, VU1rec, Multi threaded GS mode, Dual Core mode) and Frame limiting on "Limit - Force frames to normal speeds if too fast.

Graphics:
GSdx9 (MSVC 14.00, SSE2) 0.10.0 plugin with Direct3D, Pixel Shader 3.0 and Deinterlace, All filters unchecked.

Sound:
P.E.Op.S. SPU2 1.9.0 plugin (volume 2: medium, Reverb 0: No reverb, Interpolation 2: Gaussian Interpolation and everything unchecked.

Bios:
Europe v01.60(04/10/2001)

rest on default.

tekke 5 can only running smoothly when you got 4x4 GHz or more, so JEAH OC woul definetly help... so i know

sure overclocking helps with ~5-15%. thats why i said u would have 11 fps when if i got 10. but i wouldnt try overclocking with a stockfan

Pretty good results man.. I built a computer with similar hardware except I only have 2GB of ram. I have a Palit Super 1GB 8800 GT card. I wanna play with this emu now.... Good post man.

cool, but this gradius had the best result of the games I've tested so far. Heard that FFXII runs smooth also from a friendly source
