Another cover of some wonderful film music. I added the horns in with Garageband. Edited in both IMovie and Adobe Premiere CS 5.5.

  • This is brilliant! Well done!

  • @Gr8Music42 Thank you!

  • Wonderful music.. Keep it up!! Could you send me the score for me so i could play? I would imagine this wold sound nice in a small ensemble.. No hard feelings if you don't..

  • @leonandrewonn I did this by ear, so I do not have sheet music. Sorry!

  • @Violinfanatic hi that was just amazing, but can you at least tell me what are the notes for the intro?

  • @gloryfang All the notes are doubled sixteenths. In 2nd position, put your second finger on G on the D-string. It goes

    Repeat 4times: GG-CC(on a-string)-GG--FF(1st finger on D-String)

    Repeat 4times: GG-BflatBflat(4th finger on D-string)-GG-FF

    Repeat 4 times: GG-AA(3rd finger on D-string)-GG-FF

    Repeat 2times: GG-AflatAflat (low 3rd finger)-GG-FF

    Repeat 2 times: GG-BflatBlfat-GG-FF

Repeat entire phrase all over again. I hope that helps. TY :)

  • God I wish I had a talent like you. It's very beautiful :)

  • Absolutely fantastic, nice work!

  • Beautiful.. Bravo

  • check out the sub-lift track: just search youtube for "X-Men First Class Soundtrack -16- Sub Lift"

  • You picked a perfect piece to have loading when I came to see your page. If I have a bit of critique though, it sounds a bit like you are somewhat looking for the progression in the song that plays when Magneto lifts the sub from the ocean, which is actually Track 16, aptly titled, "Sub-Lift".

In my opinion, it adds just a bit more dissonance to the progression before the resolve.

But most of all, your rendition just makes me wish I had learned a string instead of the piano :D Great stuff

  • This is insanely great!

  • lovely
