Brieg was brilliant, influenced my work a lot. His surgeries were remarkable but I doubt that the "rope" he used was the best of materials, but the best for that time.
But his pictures of tension, compression, torsion were brilliant. Today I am not good at articulating my thoughts so will just keep it simple. Thanks for sharing this Barrett. I bet you agree it should be required reading for degree, but may need a "this is how you then appy this" lab. J Hesch, Hesch Institute
