Reese Havens launched the first pitch he saw from Anthony Claggett over the right-centerfield fence with two outs in the bottom of the twelfth inning to lead the B-Mets past the Altoona Curve 7-6 at NYSEG Stadium.

Havens' homer, his sixth of the season, capped a long night of baseball. The start of the contest was delayed 61 minutes due rain. Three hours and fifty minutes later, the pinch-hitter's dinger ended a game that saw 30 combined hits, nine pitchers, and 23 position players.

Altoona jumped out to a one-run lead in the first against starter Tobi Stoner. Starling Marte led off the game by lining Stoner's first pitch into left. He stole second and came home on Andrew Lambo's double to right.

Binghamton responded quickly in their first turn at bat. Jose Reyes started the rally with an infield single to short. Matt den Dekker bounced one to second that Josh Rodriguez booted.

The B-Mets took full advantage of the misplay. Allan Dykstra capped a lengthy at-bat against starter Brett Sinkbeil by launching the eleventh pitch of the battle off the base of the left-centerfield fence. Dykstra chugged to third with his first triple of the season. The drive brought a pair home and gave Binghamton a 2-1 lead.

The game headed into extras and Josh Stinson took control on the mound. The right-hander fired 2.2 scoreless innings of relief to set up the bottom of the twelfth inning.

Eric Campbell lined a one-out base hit to centerfield, but was gunned down at second trying to stretch it into a double. With the pitcher's spot due up, Reese Havens got the call off the bench. Just four minutes shy of midnight, the second baseman banged the first pitch he saw off the second row of advertising for Binghamton's first walk-off home run win since July 2008. Stinson earned his fourth win of the season and Claggett suffered his fifth loss.
