@RMendiola4 Boss has the manual as a PDF on their site. You need the manual. There's a tutorial and if you run through that you will know how to use it - if you didn't figure it out yet. I just noticed you asked that a year ago. I guess you probably figured it out or threw it out by now, lol.

I have one that I found in a mom and pop instrument store years ago, and it changed my life. Out of all the equipment that I have, the Boss DR-5 is 'still' at the heart of my beatmaking..

U have inspired me 2 post some of my own work as well, thanx 4 sharing this slamming track.

@yamoaka1 There is DR-5 Edit Ev, which is a free(evaluation) software program that allows you to download and save the info from your machine to your PC, but other than that, I don't know of anything for the DR-5. Theoretically, if you and another user wanted to swap files, you should be able to do so. Kits, beats, system info, etc. I think you can edit the sounds via software with the full version, but it's like $65, which is more than you would spend buying a DR-5 these days :/
