It's been forever since the last video, so I finally made a new one. I won't be doing animations as often anymore. This new renderer is amazing but it takes like 60 mins to render a frame. I have more pictures but I'll wait until I accumulate enough and I'll make another slideshow/montage.
This 10 second clip is me messing around in After Effects - I rendered a view from the front of the A-deck promenade (I know, there are no windows) and then added a picture taken from the Olympic in the 1920's to see how good I did - thankfully it matched up pretty close! Here you can see the results with some fancy old-timey film thrown in.
I'm going to be posting more pictures on the TRMA forums soon. I'm waiting until I fix a few problems that Titanic people will jump at me for, and I'd like to make some headway on this hull. But this is what I'm looking at right now in terms of quality of renders. (I tried a night shot today ... unbelievable, it was really fun.)
