@uhhsam I know that... I was just being sarcastic... OVER SIX MONTHS AGO !!!
-
@greything2010 probably because it uses the same bass line and features the opening guitar part heavily throughout. also the video is somewhat similar, featuring the band members in black and white clothing against a red backdrop with lots of dancing and extreme closeups.

Why dose this song remind me of "Venus" by Bananarama ?
-
@LabiLady Yes, I just meant she got a solo line in the song. For sure Aibon, Nono, and Gaki all looked 11 or 12 years old when they joined, but Maki was grown up at 13. She just released a couple of new songs if you search by 後藤真希 / 宝石
which is Goto Maki/ Houseki, you might watch the video. Houseki means precious gem. It is a bit of a sad song, but very beautiful.

@jokyaku: Then I'm sorry for this misunderstanding. I thought you were talking about the leader of MM. Next time I'm gonna read more carefully. But yeah, you're right, she really looked older than 13. ^-^

@LabiLady In my comments below, I was referring to Maki Goto, who looked much older than 13 years old, and who was one of the lead singers on Love Machine. Love Machine was released on September 9, 1999, and Maki did not turn 14 until her birthday on September 23 of that year. The hosts of Utaban used to tease the older girls that Maki was needed to save the group, as "Love Machine" turned around the fortunes of the group. Her first solo line is at 1:32 in this tape. Maki was 3rd generation.

@jokyaku: That's impossible, Yuko was the leader and at the time this single came out (1999) she was 26! No one was near 13 in that Generation. I suppose you mean Aibon, but she joined later in Gen4 and was 12 of age then. Youngest of the 1st Gen was Asuka but she never was leader, maybe you mean Kaorin, but she was 18 at that time.

1) Learn this dance

HeavenlyKaori014-Morning Musume has a lot of great songs, both before and after Love Machine. But at the time of its release- it was a huge breakthrough and really appealed to the Japanese feelings during that time period. Certainly Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari and WISH really take advantage of the "musical troupe" style of MM, and Mr. Moonlight was incredible!

"This song is called morning musume, it is a good song, I love all their music:). " LULWUT?

Yeah, but now, people buy albums online, which are not clounted in the total of albums sold.
But, yeah, this song is Morning Musume's claim to fame. LUV THE CHORUS!!
