Nintendogs + Cats: How to get a Robo Pup

In Nintendogs + Cats for the Nintendo 3DS you are able to unlock a Robot Dog. Follow these steps to unlock.
1. Earn Trainer Points. Trainer Points can be earned by giving your pets love and attention. Winning competitions, walking your pet, etc. can earn these points. You will need a lot to get your Robo Pup
2. Get the voucher. At about 5,000 trainer points I unlocked the voucher at the Second-Hand Store (points needed to unlock may vary). Collect a large amount of recyclable material on walks and the store owner will give you the voucher.
3. Find the required items while walking
4. Pick out your pup!
5. Subscribe to me!

The Robopups aren't even real dogs so why do people want them? ALso, they're very creepy, so I know I don't want that thing mingling with my other dogs.
