Are you to believe Lawyers (Chris Horner) or scientists (the IPCC) ? Who do you want telling you about science?

Well, even Chris Horner agrees that:

1. the global temperature is changing

2. we can and are affecting the climate

I HOPE that climate change is not true. I consider myself conservative. BUT, how can you deny the findings of the IPCC? Chris Horner references small, nit-picky items that don't actually disprove the credibility of the literature proving the existence of anthropogenic climate change.

Oh there been a many of volcanic eruptions that probably belched waaaaaaaaaaaay more than us. I m not ready to buy it yet/ I think the fear IS cult like until I am conveinced otherwise....Global cooling 30 yr ago I remember that....fear cult.

we've taken ice core samples dating back to 800,000 years ago and the fact of the matter is that CO2 levels are higher now than they've ever been during the last 800,000 years. This is not open for debate. The levels are the levels. If you don't find that even remotely worrisome, then you're being as obtuse as Bush and Palin.

You know, man is not as feeble as you think. Man has split the atom and even fused the atom and there's enough nuclear weapons on earth to kill 6 billion people. We do have control. Do you think LA was always smog central? Remember the dust bowl in the 1930's which was brought on by over farming. Man does have the power to change his environment. That's why I'm worried. Germ warfare, nuclear warfare, and now the melting of the polar ice caps. Man has power, but he's irreponsible.
