Jonny Greenwood is a member of Radiohead: - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonny_Greenwood

Although this soundtrack features many acoustic instruments ... I think it has an overall electronic feel to it.

  • Such a fantastic soundtrack. I find it wonderful that Greenwood managed to produce such a coherent yet innovative soundtrack, for a first try ! Every track is so unique and seems to carry a billion of different movements and flows... My all-time favourite OST !

  • @rem0il I tell ya, my expectations of this soundtrack were way low, 'cos I absolutely hate Radiohead. So I was just all the more blown away by it. Especially the jazzy tracks. Greenwood should drop everything else and just focus on jazz - because straight out of the gate he's beyond the leading edge in that genre. He's operating 20 years in the future - jazz-wise. He could OWN that genre if he wanted to - EXCLUSIVELY. The jazz world would be talking about him and no one else.

  • @rem0il I'll give those classical experiments a closer listen. I might've been so blown away by the jazz as to overlook everything else.

I uploaded this album and then held my breath. But Greenwood's one of the cool ones. So far, no complaint. Probably too busy to care anyway. But he's probably also plenty smart enough to know that I'm not costing him any money, what little he maybe cares about money anyhow. Fan channels are about free publicity. And thank God most copyright holders get that.

  • wow so wonderful and like nothing else. hank you so much for sharing this music with everyone

  • @RosevilleValley You're quite welcome. All of these tracks have been uploaded individually by other YouTubers. But I think it's best to listen to this soundtrack as one long piece instead.

  • why have i never heard of this?! by god... ty MB7 thumbs up and faved... wow...

  • @thraushtins It's better than any Radiohead album. And I mean like by more than just a level or two. Greenwood is stepping way down to be in that project.

Glad you like it. : D

  • @MB7electronic I can't agree more with you about the absolute superiority of his jazz numbers, but don't you think that his more 'classical' pieces ('HW/Hope of New Fields', 'Prospectors Quartet', 'Open Spaces' and basically the whole There Will Be Blood OST) are just as innovative and powerful ? I can't help but being blown away by any sound he puts out...

Anyway, thanks for posting the whole soundtrack in one video, it's much more enjoyable this way !

  • @MB7electronic completely agree with you 110%

  • @TheFutureClassics True. I forgot to attribute #9 to Emiliana. Mistake now corrected. And how I made that mistake, I will never know! : )

You'll be composing music for a soundtrack someday! - even for a film starring George Clooney. : )
