In honor of one of the greatest who ever stepped up to a microphone, walked out onto a stage, or hit a dancefloor...this was supposed to have been released on what would have been his 53rd b'earthday (August 29, 2011), but given all the tributes that ensued on that day, it's probably good that I got it done the day after.

The reason it's called the "Get It" Remix? Cuz that's basically what I felt when I was making it...was just gettin' it lol...feeling the vibe and energy from just his a cappella track and marveling at his timing and how I'd yell at the same time and just feel the music as he seemed to as well, and it WAS SO HARD TO SIT STILL, the more this track came together!!! I was yellin' and dancing while still playing lol

I hope anyone who hears this feels just that...the urge to just get up and dance in their room, or move in their chair at work (don't get caught), or in the club where they can hear it best and just...GET IT on the dancefloor! I tried to copy so many of his moves, sing so many of his songs, and just got excited if I saw him perform live on TV...anyway, Mr. Jackson, finally my skills have caught up with my passion for music, and here is "thank you" to your super-inspirational body of work, and this in particular from the greatest selling album in the history of music!
