http://www.FTV.com/videos PARIS - Oscar De La Renta may be known for his gorgeous red carpet gowns and sophisticated looks but did you know he does shoes too? On display, a variety of colorful peep toe pumps, beaded sandals, and textured flats. Designer Alexia Robert walks FashionTV through the line. Oscar's son Moises De La Renta represents the brand, telling us there's no better place than Paris for fashion. Shoes are inspired by Stanley Kubrick's film Barry Lyndon, which focuses on the exploits of an 18th century Irish explorer. Shoes are crafted in a men's tailoring style but for women, like military boots with feminine colors like pink and blue. Seen here, the ideal booties for Spring as well as lots of shoes in pastel colors. Other shoes are inspired by a common Spring/Summer 2012 trend: the tropical jungle.
