Scene from "Man Push Cart"

Ahmad, a widowed Pakistani immigrant, works as a food cart vendor in New York City. Every morning he wakes extremely early to drag the heavy push cart to its location on a busy city street. His customers are unaware that Ahmad was a famous rock star in his home country, and the former musician prefers this. Ahmad now concentrates on earning money in any way possible so he can eventually own his own cart and support his young son who lives with his in-laws.

@babubd321 Bahrani did an interview a while back, he said Razvi has turned down A LOT of roles because all of them have been terrorist characters. It's sad that film-makers can't use their imaginations and come up with a south-asian character that is not a terrorist. Not every brown skinned guy blows up planes. Seriously - waste of talent. I'm glad the actors sticking to his guns and refusing to play such stereotyped and one dimensional roles.
