Not true. I use cannabis for medical reasons, never in the car. No accidents either. Many I know are the same. Responsible. Do all that drink alcohol, drink and drive too? Are you that radical that you want to ban booze too? Lock all alcohol users up, take away their license?

@namtesyalp Well, I know I certainly don't advocate smoking pot and driving. But by that logic, should we just straight up criminalize every substance that can impair your ability to operate a vehicle?

I've heard the argument that there's no definitive way to tell if someone has been smoking pot in a traffic stop....I'm pretty sure that there's no breathalyzer for "Took 10 Oxycontin" either.

It's what field sobriety tests are for. Anyone intentionally driving impaired is an idiot.
