A very low budget promo for Spaced I shot with Simon Pegg & Jessica Stevenson (now Hynes).

Please ignore the crappy direction but enjoy a bit of Pegg & Hynes magic.

  • the last bit seems to be jam inspired

  • I see what you mean. I'm a big Chris Morris fan obviously but this was made before I'd heard the Blue Jam radio series. We did mess with the Voice Over's audio a little to make it sound a bit odd.

  • I'm not sure they remember it exists to be honest, it was quite a low key shoot and Edgar wasn't involved. Also as far as I know I have the only remaining Dig-beta copy.

  • Bah! No involement from Edgar?! I hope he had a pretty good excluse, the slacker. :)

This is great, though. Was the other one of Tim?

  • Thanks.

Yeah it was Tim doing the opening interview from Blade Runner with Daisy constantly interrupting.

Tim: "My Mother? Let me tell you about my Mother"

    FX: Gunshot.

Daisy: "Don't you get on with your Mum then?"

It was pretty funny but lost in the Paramount tape library, possibly erased.

  • Totally loved Pegg's dancing in the background. Glad you put this up.

  • For low budget that was fantastic, Pegg and Hynes really need to work more together! I'm utterly jelous you got to work with them! Brilliant 5/5! Never seen this before.

  • yeah, boi!

  • y isnt this on the us dvds?

  • I keep watching this to get Simon's dancing.

  • Hey thanks! Glad you like it. The track is a Cornelius remix of Mixed Bizness by Beck. I think it was only available on a mail order limited CD back in the day.

  • Dang, that's a shame. It sounds really funny.

That bit there made me laugh for a while. I could just imagine it.

  • ahhhh this is ACE! :D
