and this is what minimalist music stands for. The composer lets YOU feel what you want to. He gives the surface of the image and the interpretation is up to you...

This song is obviously about 10,000,000 dolphins procreating at the same time.

@HowitzerBug You may like music for 18 musicians by Steve Reich, it's like this but with more of a 'wave like' quality with occasional variation, well I can't really describe it with words but you could give it a try and see if you prefer it.

I bought this music when I was 15 and I am now 58 and every time I hear it , it is different and always beautiful. What a fantasic concept and a lesson for mankind. Give us all a chord, a rhythm and freedom to do what we want and we can all make beautiful music.

I suspect that instrumentation is very important for this piece to work. With the wrong ensemble it can actually get kind of annoying. But this is very beautiful. Good job.

They make Riley looks like Boulez: tense and bureaucratic.

@squiresuzuki lol, damn this sucks. I bet I would be off about 15 bpm at the end of the piece. Good luck though ;-)

Its sad how, now overlook this as history. Classical music is immortal but ot to the top 90% of society. Its just sad.

Adorable music, but I feel sorry for some of those musicians, its problably a torment to be hitting C so sistematically over and over for 30 minutes .. I would go crazy , but the whole piece for the the listener is lovely indeed!

@Setherian
I know, hitting the C the whole time would be awful... that's why I asked my good friend "MacBook Pro" to do it for me... ;)
