saw them live at warped then with drop kick murphys and street dogs and stiff little fingers great concert never gets old i was getting into a full convo with the lead singer it was intense

@nofx1990uehe MC5 was the first punk band really. They were playing in the early 60's im pretty sure they are technically labeled as either garage or proto punk or something gay like that. And all these bands are all fairly mainstream, so in a way i guess punk is kinda dead but you should really get involved with your local music scene and you might find out that isnt all the way true just yet.

And in this time it was the best punk band and without the ramones punk wouldnt be there! the music wasnt like today, they had no technicals things and nothing, so shut up and read some books abaout the punk history than you know more about it, of course are the today punk bands much better than the ramones, but the ramones made music 30 years ago you idiot, say me any better punk band at THIS time

I would recommend you getting the albums "Back To The World" and "Fading American Dream". I didn't care for their last album "State Of Grace". They also have another album "Savin Hill", which happens to be their first album.
