At the Legacy Sakura Celebration in Oppenheimer Park on April 18, 2009, the Japanese cherry blossoms and origami paper cranes move to the wind and rhythm of Harry Aoki's harmonica playing.

The Legacy Sakura were planted by the Issei (Japanese Canadian pioneers) to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Japanese Canadians and a wish for a better life for future generations.
