ok let me get this straight - the ice melts because of global warming, caused by CO2 emissions. But that means you can get to new oil fields. So then you drill baby drill and burn more oil, causing more warming.

That doesn't sound like the sensible approach to me!

Oh yeah?Then please explain to me what triggered the Medieval Warming Period?People weren't driving cars & the locomotive wasn't even around then.This video is exaggerated crap. There has actually been a slight cooling over the last few years,& the Arctic has regained a lot of ice it was losing over the years,this year due to such a cool summer.They claimed the Antarctic was losing a lot of ice,which is completely untrue.The ice is getting thicker there since they started measuring it years ago.
