This original 45 minute film seems to be hard to find now. It was made at a time when there were great differences between the USSR and the western world. But it seems there was one major thing in common. People everywhere like to rock.

  • I remember this vhs from years ago lol, i was like 4 when my bro's bought it. The scorpz where my fav band then, and they still r 2day. They r fuckin GODS!!!!

  • I have always thought that it is one of the finest documentaries I have ever seen. It is rather low budget, but it really demonstrates what the perceptions of (and from) the third world were in the 1980s. They captured something very unique, and now very much a part of the past. It is too bad this is out of print now. I was not able to post the entire thing. The copyright owner would not allow certain segments.

  • Shit, the scorpions were once here in my home town, but I was too young to understang the magnificancy of them. Did hear them outside the arena but now I wish I was there, and now i wont get the chance, unless they do a tour in the future

  • lol is that rudolf ?

  • Russia rocks!!

  • What's the name of the song in the beginning sequence???

  • i had this recorded on vhs when headbangers ball showed it back then

  • Which is thath song in the beggining?

  • This brings back a lot of good memories!!! Thanks.

  • WHAT A VOICE

  • This is one hidden gem inside the youtube mine. The fact that they had the insight to document this trip was brilliant. It ought to be played in schools around the world. There incredibly melodic and evocative ballad Wind of Change was written as a result of this trip and certainly captured a vital moment in history. I can see the Scorps following the Moskva and arriving at Gorky park.

  • the scorpions are simply the best!
