7018 flux does not float up. must uphill 7018. if you are doing it for free, ya go ahead. but companies wont pay you for this retard shit.

wow lol everybody is saying no go uphill.......its a freakin root pass root pass down hill then usaully 7018 up hill fill and cap un less its a buried pipe line which then its usaully all down hill 5p+ . it all depends on the aplication theres even tig- 7018 combos ive even done mig root down hill and fluxcore fill and cap up hill in a few different shops in tulsa all these have asme procedures writ for them.....

there is no difference in the strength of the weld in dh-uh and the reason this guy is skipping so many steps is because obviously hes drunk
