Razer had their 'Project Fiona' Windows Gaming Tablet on display at CES 2012. The prototype has Windows 7 running on the Intel Sandy Bridge platform, but let us know that they plan on moving it to Ivy Bridge running Windows 8 if the product makes it to market. They are currently in the 'user feedback' stage and let us know that if the product makes it to market, it should be available by the end of the year for under $1000.

  • Now that's frreaking sweet. The future of mobile gaming tbh.

  • Running a modded Windows 8, not Windows 7 I believe.

I can only imagine the battery life on that thing isn't too great.

One suggestion: Transformer Prime's 1920x1200 screen + Project Fiona = Beautiful, Expensive, and amazing portable computer.

So far we know that it has a Core i7 @ ~3.3Ghz, > 2GB of DDR3 RAM, a GFX chip/card with > 256 Mb of memory, and a standard HD screen.

  • They need at least a 1gb vram and 4 gigs of sram to have any type of longevity. Saying that it runs modern games medium to high is a wash of sorts considering that they are referring to console type games. This will not run BF3 even on low settings and a low res led alone games coming in the next few years. Waste of money, wait for a more suitable gaming device to be presented.

  • Yeah no!!!! Its a fucking awsome idea, but its too damn big for on the go and look at the fucking anlog sticks, it looks like a wii remote vertacal. not what im looking for at all,but deffinitly somewhat promiseing. with a complete overhaul and im probalby gonna say way to fucking bulky...........

  • Probably overheats

  • Terraria and Minecraft. Good bye world

  • can it handle bf3 on ultra?

  • @xktopx I saw another video where they said they were considering that, they just didn't have enough time to design a way to make the controllers easily detachable and easily re-attachable in time for CES.

  • @BLaZeDRas you can plug a mouse and keyboard to it...

  • mouse+keyboard > that shit
