That was a brilliant parody of 1950's visions of the future! They thought we'd be so excited about ugly utilitarian technology like food pellets... little did they know we'd have ugly utilitarian liturgy instead...  The narrator is excellent; he's got that 50's sound, authoritatively excited enunciation.
