How could you not keep up on your direct drive? The geared motor may be faster off the line because of torque but they only go 20 mph according to the website. The direct drives get up to 23 mph.. so you should have caught up and passed him. Whats the deal here? Is the website incorrect?

Impressive torque but what's the top speed? I got 400w that does 35km on flat but no torque. if you can do 35 I'd be really amazed.

This is awesome! The motor seems really powerful to push it's self through the sand. However, I would have stayed a little further away from the water. That part made me cringe a little when I saw that bike get wet, those motors aren't completely waterproof, and even if it were, the bike would rust wouldn't it? Either way, awesome demonstration, I might buy one of your motor kits soon :D .
