  • Yes but this motor runs on CNG and doesn't pollute like a diesel, that's the point.

  • I'm currently building a 765cid beasty

  • stamped rocker arms???

  • It was a slow revving truck motor. Stamp steel rockers are quieter than roller rockers

  • This is a truck motor turning less than 3000rpm

My buddy George at Speedomotive built one for alcohol that made 1250Hp

  • only 484 HP, dude you get more from a chevy crate 572....

  • @PetrolDemon That's right only 480hp at 3400rpm and 831ft/lbs at 2400rpm

  • Compression ratio ?

  • Cool engine. Tall deck block? What bore and stroke? How much $ ?

  • ....are yall really trying to tell professionals theyre doing something wrong?

  • That's a crazy set-up and a nice engine but Edelbrocks? EAD built me a perfectly streetable 4150 that doesn't even need a choke in the winter. Cost me $800 but it was worth it. It has throttle responce like fuel injection with vented bowl's and is a off road carb for my truck. I'm not hatin or trollin either. You got one hell of a truck moter there. Bow down to the stroker's.

  • @strokerengine Yeah! You are chocking on that engine. You got those LOW numbers at those LOW rpms because your intake is too narrow and the air's speed is too high. That is why you have got that diesel character. I hope this make sens to you too and I am not trolling I am just saying.

  • thats pretty shitty my diesel puts out more and i don't have to stop every mile to refill the thing diesel will forever beat gas but to each their own bet it makes a good boat anchor tho

  • @PetrolDemon same reason you see small blocks and big blocks rated at simalar horse power levels. the difference is the amount of torque they put out... 831ft/lbs at 2400rpm.... for a street car i'd take that over 800hp at 7000rpm any day. Nice build @strokerengine.

  • @strokerengine It's like a gas engine with the same numbers as a diesel haha, this thing is a badass tow monster!

  • @PetrolDemon its all about that torque.
