Design Your Own Game Console: Lesson 6: Experiment 1

This is the first experiment of Lesson 6. In it you build a 'digital organ.' It has four octaves that are controlled by a 4-bit counter, and the oscillator is a 555 timer in astable mode.

thanks. now im going to design a game console that is more high quality then any other gaming system. with an online feature, and many other stuff. oh and there will be a cord to connect from the gaming system to the computer and there will be a store to get stuff for free (pc games) it will be able to play ps3 games as well, (and the gaming console's as well) and all of this will be on sale for 50$!!! i am going to be popular! wish me good luck (i dont care about alot of money, only population)

@spike100000000000 What you are saying is a fail. The XBOX Ps3 and wii are computers ok so saying you cant play a game on a computer is like saying you cant play games at all. If you are really up to the task of making your own console just by all the hardware you need (Moniter , processor , disk drive ect). Next learn the 86x assembly language and write your own operating system. Make sure your operating os can emulate all the games you want to play.
