First part is, of course, little Nastia, because the song is talking about a little girl.
The 2nd part, where it's talking about how she'll never be "one of the boys", I made the boys the 2004 olympic team, sort of saying how Nastia was too young to go to Athens, and how she didn't give up just because of that. And then of course the ankle injury...

It kind of pissed me off that after the olympics the only thing the media talked about was Shawn Johnson and the team winning silver. I swear media just wanted an "All American GIrl" to win the all around instead of the daughter of Russian immigrants. I realize Johnson was a US and World champion but it seems like Liukin was sort of buried at the end with only a Subway commercial to show for it.
Not hating on anyone in particular, just the stupid American media.

Well I was doing it with the Athens team because she was only a few months shy of being old enough for the 2004 games. But that's a good idea too
