RESEARCH look up mags that show pics & tuturials of Afro Beautiful women who embrace the texture of hair God gave them. Mags like "Braids & Beauty." You are NOT alone many black women have dry hair initially & treat their hair sucessfully with the moisture their hairtype requires with locs & twists. Remenber just like if your not feeling well & you go to the doctor to see what treatment you need to get well. Once you understand you hair & how to treat it you WILL discover Afro Beautiful!!:-))

I know how you feel Zelda, I am Italian and was born with dry hair.

Add some castor oil to your conditioner...that will REALLY help it to retain moisture and to stop frizz.

Also you really need to deep condition it with a heating cap at least once per week until it get healthy again.

Dont shave it. Get some profectiv products and keep your hair MOISTURIZED NOT OILED! you can get profectiv at any Beauty supply store and ojon is overpriced junk. It has grown alot though so you are doing something right. Remember I told you about the monistat? you still have to moisturize! and dont knock it until you have tried it friend ;0)
