This is one of my favourite clips ever.
It's got everything. Richey... Scooby Doo... The Manics and Scooby Doo? It's like have Joy Division on before the Teletubbies.
-
"Do you ever go to wales anymore?"
"To visit the sheeps, yeh"
Made my morning :D Nicky looks adorable.

I bet that kid (next to Richey) had to think long and hard about his sexuality after that day... :D
Nicky looks soooo good in this.
(I will stop commenting this video)

they can really pull of the miss selfridges clothes (of the 90's...jesus! I wish miss selfridges was still like that) so cute
that interviewer in the stripey shorts looks like he's got issues.
-
'tom Jones, he's welsh isn't he'
= Most banal thing ever said in all history!!!
-
they geuniely did play from despair to where :'D
-
I love Richey's little quips when they ask slightly stupid questions - 'Go and visit the sheep' .
And not spoiling your makeup is an excellent reason not to mosh (Y)

Ian Curtis and the Teletubbies?! Thanks for that image, it's just caused me to spit my drink out in laughter and wreck my keyboard :P
-
Richey on the subject of 'moshing'
"just shake violently, and look very silly"
Excellent!
-
'You're gonna be performing later...' er what exactly? A little bit of 'From Despair to Where', 'La Tristesse Durera', or perhaps 'Life Becoming a Landslide'. I love the idea of these two presenters announcing these one of these titles five minutes after 'Scooby Doo' has been and gone.
-
out of all the Nicky and Ritchie interviews I watched today, Jenny Powell asked the most sensible questions
-
When asked about moshing, Richey: 'just shake violently, and look very silly'
Love it!
Bless you Richey.
redman - i don't get why you think what Richey said surprises you. can you explain?

Did she just say ENGLISH rock!? Bent bitch they're Welsh! What an insult

@Demolition - i don't know. in the beginning, i believe she was referring to their musical influences and roots, but it's hard to tell the way she phrases it. However she did say later that "you say you're an English rock band, but you're actually Welsh aren't you"? Richey responded by saying "it's the same thing though".
Cheers!

Ugh, It's not the same thing. Welsh should be proud.

@Demolition - yeh, I know. But it seemed like early in their career, they didn't like being from Wales. They always had bad things to say about it, like how boring and dead it was, etc.. but now it seems they've embraced where they come from and are proud of it.
Cheers!
