The Space Shuttle Discovery made its last flight, from Kennedy Space Center in Florida to Dulles Airport, strapped onto the back of a Boeing 747. So I guess the question is what's next? The private sector is jumping in, with a SpaceX rocket launch planned for April 30th. But is that going to be enough, to get a man on Mars or beyond? Discover Magazine's Phil Plait weighs in.
