Fisheye is difficult to spot, but once you know the odds and ends of it... Here's how it works: Players' screens will be extended to a point where they can see at a wider angle than usual. This works on both axes of the screen, so they can fire directly downwards or right in a 140° angle (or whichever value they have their "[ThirdPersonCamera] foxv" value set to). The red cross on the opponent will move around less, making it easier to focus on hitting the ship.
Most players using fisheye will tend to sit while shooting. The disadvantage of sitting and shooting is you can see it way easier. Take a look at how Sanja does his obscure shot at 0:24 upwards. This is called a spaz shot. Spaz shots are shots fired in a strange direction where a player is too close (in this case me, the camera man) and so instead of firing forwards the angle of fire will divert in a peculiar fashion. A spaz shot doesn't necessarily mean the player is cheating though, it can be done in usual PvP or the player may be lagging. In this case, it's obvious as he isn't jumping and the player he is firing over (me, the camera man) is too far away to be performing this kind of shot.
There is more to fisheye, but we'll come to this later.
Fisheye can be removed with forced gun orientation , will be impossible
