Caiques naturally hop, so training them to do it doesn't usually work. You can try chasing him with your hand though, I did that to encourage my female Zorro to hop.

Yep, we knew he would be goofy and wanted to give him a goofy name. I thought of Dweezel or Zepplin, or even Zappa, but my boyfriend wanted Dweezel. The next one will be Zepplin (Dweezel's baby).
