2007 unofficial murder totals: 126 Atlanta, 209 New Orleans, 181 Washington, DC, 278 Baltimore, and 392 Philadelphia. A high school graduation party in June '07 turned violent and two teenage girls were killed by gunfire. Others were shot and stabbed during the melee. I used to live not to far from this. Spent alot of time over the years in Stockbridge and I must say the whole southside is horrible now. If you can, leave now! I moved away from Atlanta a few years ago (just after this happened) and it was the best thing I have ever done.
