"let me go" is a line from the herman hitson song "you are too much for the human heart." indeed this is a bass and drum take from that exact song, just changed in pitch. hendrix DID work for hitson for a bit, however i do not think that this is hendrix. it just plain doesn't sound like him at all.

This song is like a story, and there is no real ending to it. First time I heared it from a cd, i put in on repeat and soaked in it for about an hour.. Had a great time! Did put some lyrics to it and play it with the band now. Too bad leadguitar can't come close to this. Think it could be Jimmy... Drums sound familiar.. Buddy Miles?

Still 1 of my favourites ever..
