It's too bad that Rotary Rocket Company didn't succeed. Maybe they should have aimed at the Suborbital Intercontinental Point-to-Point rapid transport market.
Imagine a vehicle made initially for military applications, and later making its way to the commercial market after costs have some time to come down. Taking off from a basic ground facility by rotor, rocketing suborbitally to the other side of the globe, and then landing by rotor, even potentially on unprepared terrain. All under an hour
