This video presents the first official sumobot competition here in the Philippines. It was hosted by the De La Salle University Manila and was organized by the Electronics and Communications Eng. Society of the university. The event was headed by Nikko Torcita, MICRO Chairperson ECES, with the support of Engr. Noriel Mallari and Engr. Jingel Tio, both from the ECE Department of DLSU. The contestants were students from Computer Circuits laboratory class and the sumobots they made are their respective projects. This video aims to inspire other institutions to promote this activity that will showcase the creativity and talent of ECE students and at the same time promote camaraderie and harmony between each other and hopefully between different schools in the future.
