  • No. Many experienced climbers have been able to reach the summit without supplementary oxygen. Obviously, you have to be experienced climber. I'm assuming the guy who did it was experienced considering he was the leader.

  • you can go through a guided company, check out something like climb magazine for companys that will do it for about £20,000.

    I think you could do it yourself for about £12000 though.
