i totally agree i am not anti- Christian i am a Muslim and we learn about Jesus to after all we also see him as a prophet, although i don't agree with most of the theories in the Bible ( they don't seem to add up) i agree with some, and all i know is the Pope and Kings of medieval Europe and even current days politics use 'God' to inspire people to do horrible things, the Crusade for example went against Christian teachings, they massacred Muslims Jews and Christians

I found it. It's in the book of Luke chapter 22:36. Funny, I read this before; never noticed it. Jesus, through out all his ministry he never suggested anything even close to that verse. It has to be something symbolic, and a lot of people took it literally, like where he said in John 2:19 "destroy this temple and I will raise it in three days". I don't believe Jesus meant it the way it sound. There must be a logical explanation. I have to research it and get some expert's opinion on this one.

I can't respond to your comment, because you still haven't provided where in the bible stated what you claim. What book or letter in the bible and what chapter and verse? That would help a lot. If what you said is right; you have taught me something new.

(continuation) is still an enormous Christian population, why? when the Europeans first settled in Africa they took Africans as slaves and forced conversion, but later on the set up camps where supposedly it was to 'protect' them this is wear most Africans converted the only way to get in was to convert and Africans had to convert in order to enter this camp, otherwise Christianity is full of Racists which is why a lot of African Americans converted to religions such as Islam eg.(M.Ali,MalcX

i agree with you same thing happening to Islam at the moment, New International Version

He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one."

and yes the British did you use India as an example but hey India was apart of the Mughal Empire (Muslim Empire) which ruled in India for many centuries Obviously the Muslim population is going to increase, however in Africa The 'White' people barely ruled there but yet there..

    New International Version

He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.

now, you can interpret this as self defense, but you could also interpret as war and spending your wealth for the 'sake of God', the 'sword' however was an instrument of war and was used to take lives, for self defense people would usually have a pocket knife. many people in the Christian world interpreted this as war against non believers.
