  • now it's just some seconds better.

    I think that systemd is not ready, I have some warnings in my dmesg.

    I don't know if all new features that systemd brings are all enabled.

    ps. The real improvement would be using an ssd :P !!!

  • Well, you could try to prefetch the boot files with readahead lists and replace net.eth* for wicd. My boot boot process takes from 13-16 seconds, but I didn't follow the entire tutorial about readahead list. I'll post an answer to this video as soon as possible with Gnome 3, firefox 5 and linux 3.0!

  • Was you boot time that short before using systemd or do you really fell a diffrence?
