Voicing a sound as warm, lush, and swaying as a Caribbean breeze, Maria Guinand's Caracas choir is a favorite of such conductors as Sir Simon Rattle, Gustavo Dudamel, and our own Helmuth Rilling. With a program of classical and Latin American music, the Schola choir will sweep you away to exotic sonic worlds.

I want to thank everyone taking part of the Oregon Bach Festival staff. It has been a wonderful privilege to live the OBF experience as a member of the Schola Cantorum de Venezuela, choir in residence of the festival 2011's edition, and of course it was amazing to share the stage with all those outstanding musicians of the OBF chorus and Orchestra! Thanks! :-D
