I don't know if the title Song for Ariel was invented by a fan or snatched from a set list, so i'm not sure. I know that Ariel gave them a demo cassette and when they heard it, geo said that they had to release it on paw tracks.

@springsten well i know this is really guy's eyes and that guy's eyes is about masturbation, but i was curious about the title and animal collective's affiliation with ariel pink seeing as he was originally on the paw track's label...it is possible that it was inspired by pink and a conversation they had about masturbation of something.
