Got the gasoline price blues? In this episode, Holly from Help Our World ( HOW ) discusses ways to reduce gasoline consumption. Whether it's driving a more fuel efficient car, taking a bus, riding a bicycle or simply walking, you'll be cutting carbon emissions -- believed by many to be a major cause of global warming.
Special guest Ellis Yan of TCP, Inc. talks about the joys of riding a bicycle. He encourages those who live within riding distance to ride a bike to work. You'll not only be reducing dependence on gasoline and decreasing carbon emissions, but getting good exercise too.
This has great info, but the host girl is too dramatic for me to watch w/o feeling annoyed.

I've been biking for 19 years. I've biked to Gilroy twice, to San Francisco 20 times, to Oakland, Santa Cruz, Half Moon Bay, and Sunol once each, to San Jose countless times. I have walked to San Jose, Saratoga, and Redwood City.

CP lights don't work in my bathroom as they moisture burns them out very fast. And we use an electric heater so the heat from the standard bulbs is not wasted. Hope this rule doesn't become law as I would us more resources in this example. All of the other bulbs in my home are switched over...
