Vancouver firemen Rudy Pospisil was on a mission to ride from his home town in Canada to the Mexican border to raise money to kill cancer. Verizon wireless gave him smart phones and Internet access and suggested that he could depend on it, anywhere down the California coast. He tested it, and it worked -- everywhere.

  • this should have way more views...ppl aave got to start caring about things other than movie stars..

  • @lynnej1970 Thank you for your comment. I do agree but the way the systems work, YouTube search gets me far less views than YouTube promotion which cost a lot of money, unfortunately.

  • @allinaday Thank you for believing in me David Hoffman (Producer). You spent your own time to make this for all to see and inspire people to do the same.

  • @rudypospisil75 and thank you for giving me the chance, Rudy. I admire you and what you have done, and what you are now trying to do. I'd also like to thank my editor, Gray Morison for his fine work.

  • I still congratulate him on this accomplishment. It just seemed like he hated every minute.

  • I dont mean any offence to anyone, but usually, after watching a good cycling video, I feel and fired up, ready to go and anxcious about MY cross country tour this 2012. But after watching this one, I suddenly feel like I dont want to do it anymore. A tour is supposed to be exciting and adventurous. Even the hard days are supposed to be rewarding. But this video makes cycling seem difficult, torturous and sad.

  • Very inspiring. I hope one day I can follow in similiar footsteps make a difference with my bicycle.

  • Congrats from another rider and 10 year survivor !!! David Wilson 2010 SNKCR rider

  • Congrats from another rider and 10 year survivor !!! David Wilson 2010 SNKCR rider

  • wtf? lotta whining going on

  • Please help folks by promoting this video. On facebook etc. My goal is 50.000 views.

That should inspire many to do excel in themselves to do similar projects..

  • @rudypospisil75 : Thanks for the encouragement Rudy. Folks - take inspiration from Rudy's achievements and try to give something back to those with cancer, and their families, who will appreciate the assistance you can give - in whatever manner, and in doing so, and leading by example, there's a very real possibility that you'll inspire your friends / family etc. to do likewise. it's a win / win situation. You're a top bloke Rudy. Best of luck in the Summer mate.
