DP Wi-Fi Battle: Sakurina vs. Carabou

A group of us old-timers from DSmeet still gather on a regular basis to play games together in game nights we call DSmeet Unity. I decided to hold one this week, and we voted to play Pokemon Diamond/Pearl.

So on July 20th, from 9pm to Midnight Eastern Daylight Time, nine of us went onto Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and fought online. Due to unfortunate circumstances, I could only play against five people, but I managed to capture them all on video. This is one of these battles.

This in particular is a battle against Carabou, which appears as Faint. Note that we were text chatting in a backchannel chatroom for the event between moves, which is why some pauses may appear longer than expected. The battle is sped up so you don't have to endure really long battle animations, and also so we don't go over YouTube's time limitations.

As with all of my Pokemon videos, comments only appear if they are from friends or I manually approve them if I judge they're intelligent enough to be on here. I don't want this to turn into a friend code trading post, there are enough websites where you can do that online.

The music in the background is Kotti o Muite yo by Vivi from beatmania IIDX 6th Style. This movie was filmed with an Orange Micro iBOT FireWire webcam using iMovie.

This seems to be more of an abxy thing, because most people I know have Torterra on their teams when it comes to starters.
