Love At First Sight One-Shot

This is probably going to be really crappy, but remember ... I'm trying to write this while my sister and and dad are watching Lord of the Rings. It's not a very inspiring movie. Not for a nelena one-shot, anyway.

I woke up next to Nick Jonas. Yes, the Nick Jonas. But he's not just some famous rock star to me. He isn't even just a guy I had fallen in 'love' with by listening to his music, and practically stalking him. He was the actual love of my life, and we were planning to get married next month. I met him when he was 14, and just getting started with his career. His voice hadn't changed yet, and I laughed everytime I heard one of his songs. I loved them, but he just sounded so much like a girl. We had dated from the time we were 17- present day. Which right now, we're 23. I smiled down at him as he sleeped, thinking about all the great times we've had together.

When we first met, we had instantly become best friends, and we did everything together. If his family was going to the beach, he called me and let me know, and I would come over. If my family was going to the aquarium or something, I called him and he'd come over and go with us. And since we were neighbors, late at night if I had a nightmare, I'd just crawl out of my window and into his. He was really comforting when I was scared or upset.

And I still remember the first night we kissed. It was a humid night in July. We were both 16, almost 17, and I had a nightmare that night. I climbed out of my bed, and crawled out of my window. I quickly scurried over to his house, and climbed into his room from his bedroom window. I stood over his bed, whispering, "Nick?" His eyes opened slowly and he blinked a few times, letting his vision come into focus. "Selena?" he asked. "I had a bad dream. Can I sleep with you tonight?" I replied, my eyes still wide with fear of the dream, and my face clearly showing that I was scared and upset. "Yeah. Of course. You're always welcome with me, Selena," Nick replied, scooting over.

I climbed into bed next to him, cuddling into his body. He wrapped his arms around my waist, and whispered sweet things to me, trying to make me happy, and calm. I smiled softly, and looked up at him, the moonlight reflecting his perfectly sculpted face, and chocolate brown curls and eyes. And before either of us even know what was happening, we were leaning into each other, and kissing. And ever since that night, Nick and I spent even more time together than before. We began dating soon after as well. We fell in love ... well, actually, we realized we were in love. We had always been in love. We just didn't realize it until that night. I have loved him ever since I laid my eyes on him, seeing his perfect smile as I carried moving boxes in, and watching his curls bounce around as he played basketball with his brothers. For us, it was love at first sight.

I smiled even more as I looked down at sleeping Nick, and moved my lips closer to his, kissing him. And I felt all the same sparks I did the first time I ever kissed him. As we kissed, I knew I would always feel those sparks with Nick. Forever. We had even felt sparks before we ever kissed. We just didn't realize it.

Hmmm, I don't think it was too bad. Maybe I'll win 3rd. I hope so. :)
