what no union signs or special interest group signs or grass route signs, just simple honest people wanting to make their point heard in Washington .hmmmm where is the press ? where is the President ?? campaigning again for more special interests and not real American people. man shows his respect and caring of the American people doesn't it.... MR President, these are real American's not some paid for organized group like acorn .. why won't you give them your ear ? bi-partisanship for who ?

"Tea Party" is a Big LIe. It's not the simple 1700s. We now have millions of life-saving water-food-air-safety, police, military, etc. provided by "big government" (We The People). During the real Tea Party there were no freeways, bridges nor school that allowed real tax-paying patriots to work & contribute to the superior progress this nation has. I've never whined about paying taxes as without regulations many of us wouldn't be here. Due to Cheney's deregulations the Gulf is an oil pool.'

Just give it up. To quote Barney Franks, "Arguing with you ma'am would be like trying to argue with a dining room table, and I have no interest in doing it." Patriots isn't ever going to listen to reason. So it's a waste of your time to try. Unless your getting him all riled for your own enjoyment, in which case I say, "Go for it with gusto."

You know what I see when I see these pictures? I see a bunch of old, white, men and a bunch of old, white, women wishing for the 1950's again. Well guess what: The 1950's wasn't very good for most people. And if you're wishing for a period even earlier, like the 1700's, it was even worse. How many of these geriatrics in the crowd will be on Medicaid/SS/Medicare in a few years if they're not already on it? Talk about the hieght of hypocrisy.

The last time I looked, Adam Smith did not write our Constitution nor did he have anything to do with our Constitution. You know you're losing an argument when you bring someone in that has nothing at all to do with the argument at hand. As the great Patrick Henry said "Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty, or give me death!" The war has started.

My camera missed most of it too, I only got the tail end! The entire crowd turned to the wall of the Newseum where the First Amendment is etched into the wall...and was chanting "Where's the Press" it was surreal! As we rounded the corner were exactly two TV vans. Fox and CNN...as we passed CNN...the crowd chanted "Tell the Truth!" It was a good day to be an American!

thanks for keeping your mouths shut for 8 years and then decide to start caring once the guy u voted for lost an election. real patriotic there. oh yeah and good job having the biggest protest on the same day a guy on FOXnews told everyone to go and protest for his 9-12 project. real grassroots there.

Willie: As evidenced by Bush's disapproval ratings, alot of us DID INDEED have issues with the Administration over the last 8 years. And just to remind you, the President's only weapon is VETO power over a disfunctional Congress. Bush's approval might have been better if he hadn't tried to appease the left!

Dose: I agree, technically the MSM is correct! Tens of thousands, perhaps on a single city block. There was a million of us and we vote! thanks for coming! Always glad to march amongst Patriots!
