  • Кто знает что в конце видео автомат какой то повторяет?

  • @s2stuges I am reading it too...these videos are great to see after reading the cockpit stories.

  • Are you the same people who flies between Punta Arenas(SCCI) and Union Glaciar(SCGC)??

  • Thanks for your comments. My final comment :-) Are the top 4 gauges, on the engine instrument panel the "thrust indications"? Are they a combined N-1 and N-2 percent rpm? If so, it would appear that N-1's were about 35% and the N-2's were about 65% - true? I really enjoyed your video and thank you for responding. N-6395T

  • @mmichaeldonavon Not right.. reason is the unstable Soloviev D-30 two-shaft low-bypass turbofan engine, officially referred to as a "bypass turbojet."It takes a long time to spool them up,and they are also unstable on spool up,meaning that f.ex. 1 and 2 taking its time on spool up,and 3 and 4 suddenly spool up without reaction from 1 and 2,making the plane turn so the engineer is taking engine 2 and 3 first to make sure they are stable on RPM/N1,then he takes 1 and 4.. and so on.

  • Love all of those "steam gauges"!! Great! But, did you notice the "knob spread" of the throttles? Quite a bit to have the engine "power" gauges reading the same thing. Either the instruments are not calibrated (within specs), or the throttle rigging is "out of whack". As an "old" Instrument person, I'm sure there would be "write ups", in the AC forms upon landing. Should be. Could be leaks in the engine piping to the power transducers, etc, etc. N-6395T

  • i'm just reading a excellent book called "Outlaws Inc" about Russian pilots who liberated Il-76 and such when Russia collapsed and fly freelance into the world's trouble hotspots, more or less privateers of the air,an excellent book that tells of the ruggedness of these aircraft and the skill and and resourcefulness of the aircrew. Worth a read!
