The students from St. Brendan School read the story of Sadako as part of their preparation for my trip to Japan with the JFMF Teacher Program. They made 1,000 paper cranes, praying for the victims of the bombings while they worked. I delivered our cranes to the Nagasaki Peace Park in Japan. Here are my pictures.
